Revista de Filología EspañolaRevista de Filología Española is a scientific journal published by CSIC and edited by the Instituto de Lengua, Literatura y Antropología at CCHS. Along its trajectory RFE reflects the changes experimented by Philology itself.

Editors, according to the evaluation performed by external reviewers, decide about acceptation and publishing. Submissions must be original, unpublished works. The language of the Journal is Spanish. Articles in other Romance languages may be published if approved by the Assistant Editors.

Founded in 1914 by Ramón Menéndez Pidal, it is the oldest journal of all those published by CSIC. It has a printed edition and began to be available online in 2007 in PDF files. Contents of previous issues are also available in that format.

It also publishes a collection of monographs on the same subjects under the title Anejos de la Revista de Filología Española that is published in printed and electronic format.

Revista de Filología Española is indexed in Web of Science: Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) and Current Contents - Arts & Humanities; SCOPUS, CWTS Leiden Ranking (Journal indicators), ERIH Plus, REDIB, DOAJ and other national and international databases. It is indexed in Latindex Catalogue 2.0 and has obtained the FECYT Seal of Quality.
