Presentación de su libro "Ignatiy Krachkovskiy y el arabismo español. 150 años de su nacimiento"

This seminar will feature the  academic legacy of Ignatiy Krachkovskiy, an outstanding Russian scholar and Arabist (1883-1951), and shed light on Krachkovskiy´s connections with several Spanish Arabists who were his contemporaries. Among them are first and foremost  Julián Ribera y Tarragó and Emilio García Gómez. In the course of the seminar I will also present my recent monograph  "Ignatiy Krachkovskiy y el arabismo español. 150 años de su nacimiento" (UCO Press - Editorial UCA, 2024).
